When most people sing Whitney Houston’s hit song “I Have Nothing,” they’re doing it for fun and they can’t quite sing every note like Whitney Houston herself. But Johnny Manuel is different! Rather than walk away from that defiant hit, Johnny took the stage at America’s Got Talent and told the judges that was the song he was supposed to sing! Johnny is no stranger to showbiz! As a child, he toured with NSYNC and was included in their concerts; however, things did not go as planned.
The youngster bravely spoke to the judges about his past and what he hopes to achieve with his voice and his songs today: “When I was a kid I thought he was going to take off and see the stars, but obviously This was not the case”. t the case. I hope what happens now is that I can finally be who I am and introduce myself and my music to the world. Indeed, Johnny made every effort to demonstrate his talent and sang “I Have Nothing” in the best way!
The judges and audience members were impressed and everyone rose to their feet to give him a well-deserved round of applause after he hit the last note of the song.
