When 29-year-old country singer Rachel Potter auditioned for The X Factor, she thought she was too old to make it big and go far in her music career. This was her last chance to become a star, but when I found out that she was going to do a country version of Queen’s “Somebody to Love”, I thought she had lost her mind. I’m so glad I was wrong. From the very first verse it was clear that she had an amazing voice and this song was going to be unlike any you’ve ever heard before.
She took the classic version of it and put her own spin on it in an amazing way. The crowd went crazy, the judges were shocked, and I’m sure even Freddy Mercury would give it a thumbs up. Nashville Bartender Rachel Potter tested her vocal skills at an audition on X Factor USA. The 29-year-old had been in Music City trying to pursue her dream of becoming a country singer, but after seeing younger and more talented girls take part in it, she was put off by it. Performing a country version of Queen’s “Somebody To Love”, Potter wowed both live audiences and home viewers, and especially the judges.
The new judge, Paulina Rubio, was surprised saying: “Oh my God, incredible and powerful future.” Simon Cowell, who is notorious for criticizing her, said: “It sounds like you’ve been waiting for this performance to show your talent.” Demi Lovato also added: “You’ve got the looks. You have the best voice I’ve ever heard. This industry is waiting for you. « Do not miss the next video of this talented young woman and I hope you enjoy it and, as always, leave your opinion in the comments.
