Megyn Kelly criticizes Sally Field for seeming to apologize for being white…

Megyn Kelly is firing back at Hollywood star Sally Field after the two-time Oscar winner seemed to apologize for being white while accepting a lifetime achievement award from the Screen Actors Guild on Sunday night.

Field said onstage at the SAG Awards, “I was a little White girl with a pug nose who was born in Pasadena, California.” “And when I look around this room tonight, I know my fight, as hard as it was, was lightweight compared to some of yours. I appreciate it. And I applaud you.”

This made Kelly feel bad, so he said that Field’s speech was “pathetic” and “baloney.”

“She’s very sorry about one thing, and that seems to be that she’s White,” she said. “News flash: White girls in America don’t have any problems that are worth remembering when you’re in front of a group with a lot of people of color.”

Kelly didn’t stop there. She went on to say that Field could have given a powerful speech if she had talked about what it was like to become famous in 1960s Hollywood.

“Sally Field could get up there and say, ‘I grew up in an industry where the casting couch was alive and well. We made people like Harvey Weinstein because of this,” she said.

Kelly then said that Field could have been “true to herself” by saying, “Too many women, starting with Marilyn Monroe, have had to go through that nonsense just to get on the big screen. So I’m thankful for the chances I made for myself and made the most of. I did really well, and I’m proud of myself.”

Field did the exact opposite of what he should have done and went the wrong way.

Kelly said, “She basically has to say, ‘I’m the little white girl from Pasadena, and I didn’t go through anything like you guys did in this room.’” “How did she find out? It makes people of color in the room feel so small. She just thinks that they are all being mistreated? Why should she think that all of them have had it so hard?”

Adam Carolla, a comedian who was also a guest on Kelly’s show, said that Hollywood has become so liberal that actors feel like they have to say very left-wing things to get jobs.

“Actors need jobs, and as we’ve seen over the last few years, people will cancel anyone and they’ll never come back,” Carolla said. “So, giving speeches about racism in society makes you more likely to get a job.”

Kelly said in the end that speeches like the one Field gave at an award show need to end completely.

Kelly said, “Perhaps [Field] can help if he stops dividing us all so much.” “Could you just shut up? Just f***ing say thanks, honestly.”

Field has been known for a long time as one of Hollywood’s most liberal stars. CNN says that in 2019, she and her good friend Jane Fonda were both arrested at a climate protest in Washington, D.C.

Field has shown that she is just another Hollywood liberal who has lost touch with reality with her ridiculously politically correct speech. It’s not surprising that no one watches those Hollywood award shows anymore.
